Hey friends! I've been on a very religious reading kick lately, so I figured I'd start writing up some book reviews for those of you who love literature as much as I do.  The first book I'm featuring is the one I have most recently finished up.

For the month of November, I will be keeping a “poem diary” of sorts for my own personal #30DaysOfPoetry #NovemberPoetryChallenge. I will be publishing all pieces in short installments via this blog. Maybe it's good, maybe it's not, but I guess I'll never know if I don't put it out there. 

Poetry is significantly more personal to me than songwriting and it shows when I write. I have an emotionally challenging month ahead so I figured I should make good use of it in more ways than one.

Trigger Warning: Assault --- I'll be blunt, yesterday sucked. That basically led to me having an all day migraine, but I'm an adult and I had shit to do, so I proceeded with my day as normal. However, life decided that it had one more curveball to throw at me. It wasn't the worst curveball that could have taken place, but slightly uncomfortable nonetheless. I could've let it be a bother, but in the sheer spirit of "screw it" - I decided to have some fun with it instead.
